Skinchecker is a compact, fully Japan-made sampling kit developed and manufactured by Smartchip Inc. It comprises Corneum Strip Tape — Corneum Checker and Sebum Indicator Film — Sebum Checker.
Corneum Checker collects corneocytes from the skin surface using the tape-stripping method. Disc types support visual evaluation, while the slide type supports staining and direct microscopic observation. Sebum Checker captures skin-surface sebum as a visible pattern on a microporous film.
The collected samples can be observed and compared directly on the respective sampling media without specialized electronic measuring equipment. Skinchecker supports cosmetic research, product development and evaluation, professional skincare consultations, and sales promotion.

Skin Diagnosis System — HADA Check.com | Skin Diagnosis System Using Skinchecker
HADA Check.com is a corporate skin diagnosis system developed by Smartchip. It combines Skinchecker with questionnaire-based assessment to evaluate skin condition using corneum and sebum information collected with Corneum Checker and Sebum Checker.
Unlike skin diagnosis methods based only on facial photos, HADA Check.com uses actual skin samples to assess factors such as skin type, transparency, moisture balance, turnover condition, and estimated skin age.
The system can be used for in-store counseling, cosmetics recommendations, and promotional activities.
